HOSPITALIZATION

• Please follow the instructions from your nurse and doctor.
• We have following facilities inside the hospital.
  • Restaurant
  • Cafeteria
  • Convenience store
  • Post Office
  • Barber & Beauty shop
  • ATM
• No smoking on premises (including e-cigarettes and heated cigarettes).
• Be sure to write “floor, ward name, department name” in the address of the mail to the inpatients.

Meals

• The meals will be provided at the hospital according to each patient’s medical condition. Please refrain from bringing in your own food and drinks.
  ・Breakfast: 8:00 AM ・Lunch: 12:00 PM・Dinner: 6:00 PM
• If you have any food you don't eat because of your religion or having allergies, please let your nurse know in advance.

Family Stay

Hospitalized patients are fully taken care of by hospital personnel, and their family members need not stay and sleep in the hospital room to look after them.
However, in some rare cases, a hospitalized patient’s family member may stay in the room if the patient’s doctor or nurse in charge permits. Doctor or nurse will explain the details.

Medical treatment during hospitalization

• In each department, the department chief, the ward nurse manager and others will cooperate with the doctor in charge to provide medical care.
• In order to train doctors and medical students, share information with medical teams, and provide better medical care, department manager regularly makes rounds.
• Depending on your medical condition, your room and ward may change. Please understand and cooperate with us.
• Make sure to receive sufficient explanation about the disease, examination, and treatment from your doctor or nurse.

Going out or Staying overnight

If you wish to go out or stay overnight, you need the permission of the doctor in charge. Make sure to submit a request for permission. We will issue a permit for going out and staying overnight. Depending on your medical condition, permission may not be granted. Please consult your doctor carefully.
